The survey was completed Nov & Dec 2013, across North America & Europe and 77% of respondents are responsible for the performance of others, while the balance play a supporting role such as HR. The three main findings are:
1. Alignment of the Individuals Role, Goals & Career with those of the organisation is a significant opportunity for improvement.
2. Though most organisation have a process the quality and frequency of engagement between the Individual and their manager can be enhanced.
3. Time, Overhead and administration are barriers to good performance management execution , but more use of technology can overcome these.
